WESTFIELD: 
Richard T. Kareta, 88, passed away at Genesis at Westfield Center on Thursday, September 3, 2020. He was born in Westfield to the late Theodore and Victoria (Premny) Kareta and attended Holy Trinity Schools. He was the owner of Dick Kareta Concrete Construction from 1954-1993. Dick enjoyed golfing and fishing and boating at his home in Holland, MA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Ruth J. (Stolarz) Kareta, his son David B. Kareta and his wife Charlene of Westfield, his cherished grandchildren, Laura of New Hampshire, Zachary of Westfield and Teddy of Arizona and a great grandson Ethan and his brother-in-law, Stan Stolarz and his wife Joan of Westfield. Sadly he was predeceased by a son Stephen R. Kareta and his brother Robert Kareta.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. A visiting hour will precede the service from 12-1PM in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
