Richard Wolfe

photo-1MONROEVILLE, PA – Richard Wolfe, 80, a lifelong resident of Southwick, MA died Monday, July 1, 2013 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Anne Stromgen Wolfe: the loving father of Cynthia (David) Champagne of Independence, Kentucky, Linda (John) Eremic of Monroeville, Pennsylvania and Karl (Patti) Wolfe. He was the brother of Betty Ann Soper and the late Edward (Tunkie) Wolfe and Gorden (Gordie) Wolfe. He is survived by 7 grandchildren; Bruce Eremic of Bainbridge Island, WA, Breanne (Chris) McMillan of Independence, Kentucky, Keisha (Chris) Rose of New York City, Brittany Champagne of Independence, KY, Michelle Champagne of Louisville, KY, Hannah Wolfe of Sitka, Alaska, and Jasmine Wolfe of Sitka, Alaska. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Kira, Jasmari and Lily.
Richard (Dick) was a Korean War veteran, a former school board member and an active volunteer for the republican party. Dick was an active outdoorsmen most of his life and enjoyed travel throughout his life.  He enjoyed visiting his many grand and great grandchildren. He was an avid skier, bicyclist, hiker and motor cycle rider. He loved camping with his children and grandchildren.
Arrangements are by the Jobe Funeral Home of Monroeville. Dick will be buried at the Southwick Cemetery in a private ceremony. A Life Celebration luncheon will be held at Tucker’s Restaurant in Southwick at 1:00 p.m. Thursday the July, 11th. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to attend the luncheon Thursday.
