SOUTHAMPTON; Robert E. Cashin, Jr., 55, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield February 28, 1961. Robert was employed as an auto technician for Marcotte Ford in Holyoke for 20 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Denise K. (Locy) Cashin of Southampton and his five children, Matthew D. MacBrian and his wife Laurel (Lawson) MacBrian of Montgomery, Elizabeth R. Cashin and her fiancée Richie Webb of Becket, Nathan D. MacBrian of Southampton, Robert E. Cashin, III of Stafford, CT and Elijah N. Cashin of Southampton, and two cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Caroline. As both a husband and a father, Bob was faithfully and lovingly devoted to his family. Whenever possible, he spent countless hours out doors with his children going camping, fishing, hiking and exploring.Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and we were blessed by his friendship and his love. A Funeral Home Service for Robert will be held on Wednesday at 7PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
