SALEM, AR – Robert Alan Holcomb 73, of Salem Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home Arkansas. Bob was born in Westfield and was a graduate of Springfield Trade High School and the Springfield MA Public School System.
Upon high school graduation he entered the U.S. Navy and retired after 30 years of service with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Upon retirement from the Navy he went to work for Hampton Inns Corporation and retired from there to Salem Arkansas.
He leaves his son, Michael Holcomb of Salem Arkansas; his daughter, Lisa Henry of Pensacola, FL; his ex-wife and friend, Patricia Holcomb of Salem Arkansas; seven grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Additionally he leaves a younger brother, Richard S. Holcomb of Westfield MA; a younger sister, Carole LeBlanc and nephew Richard LeBlanc of Santee CA and extended family in the Western MA area.
Conner-Hankin Funeral Home at 2833 Highway 62 West, Mountain Home AR 72653 is in charge of arrangements.
