Robert “Bob” K. Gould, 94, of Westfield, passed away peacefully Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home. He was born July 26, 1924 in Portsmouth, VA and was a son of Ralph and Kathryn (Carroll) Gould. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he married Bernice Robillard in 1946, and together they raised six children. He was employed with Combustion Engineering in Windsor, CT, retiring in 1985. He is survived by a son Timothy and his wife, Linda of Longmeadow, and two daughters Susan and her husband, Wayne of Bradford, Maine, and Kathryn King of Feeding Hills; and daughter-in-law Alva and her husband, Randy of Westfield. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 65 years, Bernice, he was predeceased by sons Peter and Robert “Ken”; a daughter Barbara; a granddaughter Alisha; and a great-granddaughter Gabrielle. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of his family with burial in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA.
