WESTFIELD – Roberta J. (Wilk) O’Connor, 74, (1949-2023) unexpectedly passed away, peacefully, and surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Westfield to the late Edwin and Stella (Osowski) Wilk. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1966 and earned her Associates Degree from Fischer Jr. College. She was employed by the Registry of Motor Vehicles as a clerk for 27 years and retired in 2014. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church and a member of the Rosary Society. Her most cherished moments were filled by the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandkids and great-granddaughter. She also loved tending to her flower garden, painting, taking pictures, baking, reading, and taking walks around her neighborhood, in addition to being an avid Patriots fan.
Roberta will be dearly missed by her loving children, Marlene G. LeBlanc and her husband Michael of Westfield and Mark R. Attanasio and his wife Lisa of Southwick, her sisters, Margaret Abrams of Feeding Hills and Alicia Haluch of Westfield, and her four cherished granddaughters and great-granddaughter, Brooke Leal and her husband Devon and their daughter Delanie of Granby CT, Bianca Attanasio of Southwick, Madeline LeBlanc and Hannah LeBlanc both of Westfield, as well as her four nephews and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 26th, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. in Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St., Westfield. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm St., Westfield. www.firtionadams.com
