LUDLOW – Roger M. Heath, 81, passed away on January 6, 2020, with his beloved wife of 35 years, Gretchen (Corliss) Heath, by his side. Born on April 22, 1938, in North Hyde Park, VT, Roger was the son of the late Maurice and Regina (Milcherska) Heath. Along with his parents, Roger was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Cusson of Granville, and his brother Norman Heath of Woronoco. Besides his loving wife Gretchen, Roger is survived by two brothers: Paul Heath of Springfield, and Karl Heath of Southwick and many nieces and nephews. Roger will be dearly missed by his family, and many friends.
Prior to his retirement, Roger was a mechanic employed in the sheet metal industry, last being employed by Chicopee Engineering. He and Gretchen were able to enjoy these past years at their home in Ludlow, and spending the last 10 winters in Florida together. An avid motorcyclist, Roger very much enjoyed long leisurely rides with friends near and far. He loved listening to country music. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Springfield.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM with a memorial service from 2:30 to 3:00 PM in the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA.
