Rose M. Danofff

Rose M. (Giuggio) Danoff died peacefully on June 8, 2017 at the age of 91. Born in Springfield, MA on October 30, 1925, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Philomena (Cardaropoli) Giuggio. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Edward R. Danoff (Dziewkiewicz). Rose and her husband owned and ran the Hill N’Dale restaurant in Russell, MA during the 1950’s before relocating to West Springfield, MA. Rose then worked as a demonstrator for Bachelor Bells and as a Food Service manager at Zayre department store before retiring. She was a member of the Sisters of Columbus, loved to travel around the world as well as spending summers in East Otis, MA on Big Pond. She was a great loving mother, and a kind, loving, and generous person who was loved by all. She leaves her children, Carol Lawler of Harvard, MA, Christina Danoff of Noank, CT, Linda Danoff of West Springfield, MA, Edward R. Danoff, Jr. of Newport Beach, CA and Deborah Danoff-Hoppe of Russell, MA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The funeral services will begin Wednesday morning at 9am at Tazzini Funeral Home, Springfield, MA with a 10am Funeral Mass at Mt. Carmel Church, Springfield, MA. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield, MA.
