WESTFIELD: Ruth 
was born on July 18, 1932 in Springfield MA. She lived in California for 42 years before returning to Massachusetts in early 1997. She was the wife of John “Jack” Hagerty who died in 1996 and the daughter of the late Otto M. and Bertha (Hart) Wagner. Mrs. Hagerty attended schools in Springfield, Easthampton before moving to California in 1955. She leaves one brother Robert Wagner of Florence, five nieces Candace Crawford, Marlene Nelson, Patricia Sampson, Robin and Jill Wagner, seven nephews Bradley, Dennis, William, Eric, Ronald, Lawrence and Jon Wagner, several great nieces and nephews and several great- great nieces and nephews and a close friend Joan Whipkey of Southwick. She was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Ernest Wagner. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9th at 1 PM in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery on Lockhouse Road in Westfield.
