SOUTHWICK: 
Ruth Edith (Lotherington) Wallis of Southwick, MA passed away on June 1, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born in Westfield to the late Raymond and Edith (Swinyer) Lotherington. She was the wife of the late George Wallis who passed away in 2012. She graduated from Westfield High School and Holyoke Hospital Nursing School. She worked as a loving and compassionate nurse at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and in Georgia before staying home to raise her family. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Westfield. She enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband including their favorite place in Switzerland. She leaves behind her sons, Eric Wallis and his wife Stephanie; David Wallis and his wife Mary Beth all who reside in Westfield, along with her grandchildren: Amanda, Brittany, Courtney, and Madison. Burial Service will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at Pine Hill Cemetery, followed by a memorial service and reception at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church 16 Court Street Westfield, MA.
