WESTFIELD – Ruth M. (Doubrava) Dineen, 95, of Westfield died Thursday, October 25, 2012 in Leeds. She was born in Westfield on March 28, 1917 to William and Helen (Frank) Doubrava. Ruth was a graduate of Westfield High School and was the widow of John E. Dineen who died in 1982. She enjoyed Bingo and taking care of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
Ruth leaves three daughters, Sheila Wilson and her husband Wayne, Lynn Moran of Easthampton and Cindy Lenares and her husband Michael of East Longmeadow. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Ellen Hirtle and her husband Christopher, Jeffrey and Christopher Wilson, Peter Moran and his wife Stephanie, William Moran and his wife Amy, Shannon Congdon, and her husband Eric, Jonathan Leger and Jonathan Lenares and seven great-grandchildren and her dog Murphy. The family would like to thank the staff at Linda Manor in Leeds for their kind and compassionate care.
A graveside service for Ruth will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours are omitted.
