
WESTFIELD – Sally Ann (Christianson) Sienkiewicz, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 31st, 2025. She was born in East Longmeadow on February 12th, 1933, to the late Harry and Jane (Bourgeoise) Christianson. Sally was a 1950 graduate of Cathedral High School and worked at Package Machinery, Westfield Gage, and Western Beef. She and her husband Willard Sienkiewicz were married for fifty-nine years and raised their five children in Westfield.
Sally was also a proud member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and served as the secretary for many years. Her voice rang out in the choir, as a Sunday school teacher, and at the many church dinners she helped prepare. She enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly laughing with her many grandchildren. Many will remember her love for puzzles, reading, and singing hymns. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and looked forward to her reunion with her loved ones in heaven with great joy.
Sally is survived by her loving children, Donald F. Sienkiewicz and wife, Greta of Ludlow, Mary A. Minalga and husband, Robert of Shrewsbury, Frank F. Sienkiewicz and wife, Sandie of Topsfield, Jane M. McClure and husband, Tom of Westfield and Harry F. Sienkiewicz and wife, Kim of Westfield. Her beloved grandchildren: Isaac and his husband Patrick, Alex and his fiancée Lizzy, Meaghan and her fiancé Darryl, Sarah, Michael and his wife Haley and Sally’s beloved great-granddaughter Molly, Emily, Austin and his fiancée Kayla, Sophie, Jennie, Adam, Emma, and Ellie were cherished blessings who enriched her life.
She was predeceased by siblings: Margaret, Annamae, Charles, Alice, Kay, and Harry. She also leaves behind her many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. The family would like to express thanks to the Baystate Hospice, especially Sheila, Peter, Jonathan, Andrea, Kayla, and Ada for their loving care.
Sally’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 60 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 5th from 4–7 p.m. in Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sally’s name may be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 60 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085.
