WONOOSKI, VT. – The Westfield Babe Ruth Baseball 13-Year-Old All-Stars squared off against Tri-County Maine to start off the New England Regionals on Saturday afternoon in Winooski, Vermont. The Wolf Pack trailed 2-1 heading into the top of the seventh but would come out victorious thanks to Colin Scanlon.
Down to just three outs, Mikey Hall led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a passed ball. Mason Collingwood would follow with a single and put runners on the corners. After swiping second, Matt Pelletier, who had already hit two deep doubles, was intentionally walked bringing up Scanlon. Scanlon would lace a 1-0 fastball to left center clearing the bases and giving the Wolf Pack a 4-2 lead in which they would not relinquish.
