School project moving along quickly

SOUTHWICK – The Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School renovations are moving along quickly.
Superintendent John Barry told the regional school committee this week that the 7-12 school auditorium is close to completion.
“I think by the end of the month it will be close to finished,” he said.
Barry said once this is complete, classrooms will be moved to begin work on the music rooms earlier than anticipated.
“The idea is to move the music people and classrooms into the auditorium,” he said.
At Powder Mill school, parents will soon be able to return to the normal procedure for bringing students to school.
“We will do a Connect Ed message to parents letting them know when they can use the drop-off again,” Barry said.
