WESTFIELD: Stephen M. Paul, 59, (1961-2021) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at home. He was born in Springfield, MA to the late William and Irene (Rossi) Paul. Steve received his Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from UMASS. He was employed by Connecticut Valley Biological in Southampton, MA for over 33 years as the Living Materials Manager. (“He fixed lobsters!” according to his first nephew). Steve loved nature, animals, birds, being outdoors and anything to do with wildlife. He was an avid book reader. History, Geography and Genealogy were another passion. A huge Star Trek, Hobbit & Lord of the Rings fan. Loved his music, Fleetwood Mac his #1. He also loved to cook, but mostly spending time with his family & friends.
Steve is survived and will be sadly missed by his brother, Michael W. Paul and his wife Mary Ellen of Windsor Locks, CT, his sister Susan J. LaCroix with Scott Welch of Westfield, MA, his nieces and nephews, John Paul LaCroix, Ryan Paul, Erica LaCroix, Rebecca Paul, Rachel Paul and his great-nephew, Kalum Pelletier. He also leaves his work family from CVBS whom he spoke of frequently as well as his dear and longtime friends, Jon & Chris Tyler. He was very fond of them all.
