Susan L. Haas

GRAVILLE – Susan Lee (Frasco) Haas, 63 (1954–2017) of Granville, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on Friday December 29th, 2017. Born in Springfield to the late William and Constance (Chestnut) Frasco, she was a graduate of Southwick High School. Sue served her country honorably for nine years in the United States Army as a Medic. She remained in the medical field throughout her career and was employed with Fairview Pediatrics in Chicopee for over 25 years. Sue was an amazing quilter and could often be found with many projects in her quilting room at her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Kenneth C. Haas of Granville; her daughter, Deanna (Strickland) Heuer and her husband Matthew and their two children, Samuel and Adele of Germantown, NY; three brothers, William Frasco, Jr. of The Villages, FL, Mark Frasco of Westfield and Gary Frasco and his wife Keri of Springfield, OH; many nieces and nephews; dear friend Patricia Meyers and her many quilting friends over the years.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 3rd from 4-7 PM at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Hwy. Sue’s funeral ceremony will be Thursday January 4th at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a committal service with Military Honors at 11 AM in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
