Susan S. Satterlee, 71, of Southwick, died Thursday, March 14, 2019 at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Boston, MA and attended The College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. Susan was an artist her entire life. Her whimsical hand-painted treasures and miniature creations were considered collectibles. Recently, she had the honor of being a featured artist in Miniature Collector Magazine. She was also deeply committed to the Cancer House of Hope, especially the annual Luminaria event. Susan is survived by her two children, Michael Satterlee of Southwick and Michelle Morais and her husband Joe of Millville, MA. She is also survived by her older brother, Raymond Sackett, his wife Jody and their two children, Ethan and Julianne, of Rumson, NJ. She leaves behind her niece, Deborah Satterlee and her husband Bruce Geddes of Loudonville, NY. Susan was the cherished great aunt and godmother to Katherine Orr of Loudonville, NY. She was pre-deceased by her late husband, John H. Satterlee, Jr. Calling hours will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31st at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA.
