MONTGOMERY – Susan V. Doran, 67, passed away peacefully on September 29th, 2023, with her family by her side. Born August 11, 1956, in Boston, MA, she was a daughter to the late Thomas and Virginia (Saunders) Doran.
Other than her parents, Susan was also predeceased by her sister Denise, her brother John and her niece Shannon (Ouellette) Hernandez.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen (Doran) Gallo and her husband Robert, her brother Thomas Doran and his wife Kathleen. She leaves behind five nieces and nephews: Kathryn (Gallo) Megraw, Kelly Gallo, Virgina Doran, Elizabeth Doran and Mathew Ouellete. She also leaves her close friend Frank Scigulinsky.
Susan loved her log cabin and spending time outdoors, caring for her cats, dogs and goats over the years. She also was talented at sewing, quilting and needlepoint, but she especially loved her perennials and wildflower gardens.

Calling hours for Susan will be held on Friday, October 13th, 2023, from 10-11:30 AM at Westfield Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St., Westfield, MA 01085, followed by a graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 203 Southampton Road, Westfield, MA.
