Teacher injured in two car crash in Holyoke has died

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The woman who was critically injured in the head-on collision on Westfield Road in Holyoke, Monday morning, died Tuesday.

According to a Holyoke Public Schools letter, the woman was identified as 53-year-old Anne Cullen, a long time Holyoke teacher. Cullen was on her way to work at Holyoke High School at the time of the crash.

Cullen had worked in the public School system for 30 years as of this month. She worked as a teacher of children with special needs since 1986.

The other driver involved in the accident, a 75 year-old man from Southampton, was also taken to the hospital but expected to recover from his injuries.
