WESTFIELD – Teddi J. (Jeck) Brown, 66, (1957-2024) passed away peacefully on January 22nd, 2024, following a brief illness. The daughter of the late Ann Marie (Van Duzer) Jeck and Richard Jeck, she was born April 1st, 1957 in Massena, New York. Teddi grew up in Rhinebeck, New York, graduating from Rhinebeck High School in 1975, and resided in Westfield, Massachusetts since 2008. She worked for many years in the restaurant industry, rising to banquet manager, before shifting to the banking industry. An active member of the parish at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, Westfield, she had a passion for outreach and service to the community.
Teddi’s entire life was devoted to service. In addition to serving her parish and local communities, Teddi spent many hours volunteering at St. Michael’s Academy, where both her grandchildren attend. Her loving, compassionate demeanor was felt by those around her both professionally and personally. Teddi was nurturing and caring to family, friends, and fellow parishioners. Her smile filled a room, and her laugh was infectious.
Teddi is survived by her husband, Raymond of Westfield; her daughter Ashley Duplessis and her husband David, granddaughter Mira, and grandson Aaron of Chicopee; sisters Debra Macon and her husband Steven of Christiansburg, VA, Paula Jeck of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, Amy Michaels and her husband Kevin of Saugerties, NY; and brother Russell Jeck and his wife Barbarann Tantillo-Jeck of Pleasantville, NY; her stepdaughter Meaghan, of Lincoln Park, NJ; as well as her nephews and other extended family.
There will be a memorial service for Teddi at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, Westfield at 3 p.m. on February 10th, 2024.
