Theresa A. Gorman

Bradenton, FL – Mrs. Theresa Ann Gorman, 81, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Pittsfield, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Florida. Born in Westfield, MA on August 16, 1936 the daughter of Carl and Margaret Doyle Libardi, she attended schools in Chester. Terri worked as a licensed Real Estate Agent and Broker in Pittsfield for 30 years. She had owned and operated her own Real Estate business, Terri Gorman Real Estate and had previously worked for John Hancock Insurance as a licensed agent. Terri was the former President of the local chapter of the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization.

Terri loved the ocean and vacations spent at the beach especially with family. In addition, she found great joy in the many trips she took with her beloved husband Mike. Their trip to Italy was especially memorable for her. She and Mike were able to meet her father’s family that still reside there.
Terri also loved golfing, dancing and was always ready for a party. She enjoyed her gardens and flowers, but the happiest times were spent with her children and grandchildren.
She had a strength and dignity that carried her until the end. Even though she will be missed by those who knew and loved her she will not be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Donald “Mike” Gorman, whom she married on July 26, 1986. Terri is also survived by her five children, Marjorie Hoke (John), Stephen A. Salvini, Jr. (Joy), Lisa J. Frinks (Andy), Michele Gorman (Andrew) and Nicole Double (Bill); 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Libardi.

Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Ann Gorman will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 12 noon from the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, celebrated by Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Huntington, MA. Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Monday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to Moments House, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, in her memory.
