Thomas B. Krok

WESTFIELD  – Thomas B. Krok, 70, passed away at home on December 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield to the late Joseph and Geraldine (Treat) Krok. From a young age, Thomas loved music and always shared his love & joy of life through it, playing guitar in a band for 40 years and writing and singing songs for friends & family on special occasions. He was an avid motorcyclist, riding with the Knox Trail Riders dirt bike club and, later in life, his Harley that he took on long rides with his wife and friends. Thomas has an adventurous soul and enjoyed traveling with his family to Old Orchard Beach Maine, Pompano Beach Florida and throughout the United States on cross country trips. With his friends, he took summer canoe trips throughout the Northeast, Canada and even the Arctic Circle in Greenland. A naturally caring and nurturing person, Tom dedicated his professional career to working in education. He earned his Master’s Degree and worked over 30 years for the Westfield Public School System and was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, retiring from the Guidance Department. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Evelyn P. (Reardon) Krok, his two loving sons Michael J. Krok & wife Robin and Nicholas B. Krok & wife Ashley, his brother William Krok & wife Diane and his cherished grandsons, Finn & Wilder. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Daniel Reardon & wife Linda and sister-in-law Kathy & husband Mark. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews Tim Reardon, Stacy Lucas, Katie Janik, Jeff Krok, Kevin Janik and Lindsey Pires.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 4-7PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home in Westfield. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10AM at The Episcopal Church of the Atonement, 36 Court St, Westfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas’s name may be directed to The Episcopal Church of the Atonement
