WESTFIELD: Thomas P Savage, 57, passed away Tuesday December 1, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born May 17, 1958, Tom was the son of the late Martin and Lucy (Russo) Savage. A graduate of Classical High School and Holyoke Community College, Tom received a degree in nursing. He was a registered nurse at Baystate Medical Center and finished his career with the Baystate Visiting Nurse’s Association.
He was a member of the Pioneer Valley GTO Club, the Polish American Club in South Hadley, the Massachusetts Association of Registered Nurses, and a volunteer and team member of Relay for Life.
Tom leaves his 3 sisters; Kathleen Guevin and her husband William, Elizabeth Zebian and her husband Ahmad, Ellen Gillman and her husband Mark, 9 nieces and nephews, as well as many friends, extended family and his beloved German Shepherd.
A memorial service will take place Saturday December 12, 2015 at 12 noon at the Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St (Rt 20), Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-12. The burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
