Oswaldo Salgado, 44, of 11 Elmwood Ave., Holyoke, charged by Westfield police with shoplifting at Stop & Shop East Main Street supermarket, subject stopped by loss prevention employees and found in possession of two boxes of Kraft stuffing, candy and apples, subject, who was formerly employed by that supermarket as a loss prevention detective is currently living at the Samaritan Inn, Free Street, not guilty plea entered, released on personal recognizance;
Donald A. Lans, 35, of 49 Orchard St., Northampton, charged by Westfield police with operating a motor vehicle after suspension of his license, officer patrolling the East Main Street area passed through the Little River Plaza observed a motor vehicle parked in the fire lane and subsequently took the subject into custody, subject released on personal recognizance;
Liam L. Wright, 38, of 741 Western Avenue, charged with Westfield police for speeding and operating a motor vehicle after the suspension of his license, a subsequent offense,, officer reported that subject was operating a vehicle at 53 miles an hour on a section of Franklin Street posted at 35 miles an hour, not guilty plea entered, released on personal recognizance.

Thomas J. Saba, 37, of 24 Lumau St., Springfield charged by Westfield police with attempting to conceal a registration plate, receiving stolen property, a registration plate, operating a motor vehicle after suspension of registration and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, violation occurred on North Elm Street, court continued the case to Aug. 1, 2016 without a finding, subject ordered to pay fine and $250 in court fees;
Caitlain G. Lami, 29, of 50 Southampton Road, charged by Westfield police with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, entered not guilty plea, released on $1,000 personal surety
Jonathan L. Westbrook, 26 of 76 Davis Road Southwick, Westfield police charged with trespass and resisting arrest, companion case with Lami, not guilty plea entered, released on $1,000 personal surety.
