Get ready to celebrate, Wed. Nov. 9 is almost here.  After this election, this is the day when all reasonable and responsible Americans should go out and celebrate.  And, after we celebrate that this most hate filled, and malicious campaign is over we have to get off our butts and to start living up to OUR RESPONSIBILITIES as those who are held ultimately responsible for this our nation, and as such the real actual ultimate authorities, to restore a functional government.  After all it was not Washington, Jefferson, or Franklin who were at Concord and Lexington, or Bunker Hill.  It was farmers, and shop keeper; everyday New World First Americans who raised the flag and said, enough is enough!

We have had enough with the hate, we have enough with dysfunctional government, and enough of being divided and kept controlled in our own country.  If anything good came out of this election it was the fact that most Americans are fed up with how things are being run.  And, how much dissatisfaction and disassociation we have developed for the political parties who are supposed to be working for us.  To paraphrase what Franklin did say at the end of the Constitutional Convention: it is time to put aside our ambitions, and personal self-interests and sign this document, for off our shores are those who are waiting for us to fail.

So much of what was said during this campaign was so Un-American, it is Anti-American.  The behavior exhibited was not US, the U.S.  Up until the era of greed starting in the late ’70, we believed in our personal and shared responsibilities.  And, that while we had serious disagreement on so very much, our ability to work together got us through wars, and economic depressions by putting aside our differences and working together.  Too many of us have given up those responsibilities to have someone else do it for us; and surprise, surprise they took care of themselves first, last, and all that is in between; and left us to pay for it with “…our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor…”

We can no longer leave America to those who would divide us: the greedy and their egos.  Instead of our differences, and what do not like, let us commit ourselves, as did those everyday people at Concord and Lexington to say: enough is enough, we are taking charge of OUR nation by coming together with civility to begin again the process of restoring what we have lost over the last 45 years, our citizen responsibilities and authority.  Stop being flag wavers and to do things by giving a few hours a month to begin to mend America.  If those we have elected cannot work together, or for us; we must change our Parties, or replace them.

I have mentioned before my interest in forming a non-partisan, non-political party that I have titled The Independent Centrists Voters Network.  Delays to do this right and acquiring the means will now be put aside.  I have the State approved Charter, and the need seems important enough to get started.  I will, over the short time left before Inauguration Day, to begin to present it to you, and to any others who will listen and want to help, to work together, to start making this happen.  Please let me know if you are interested, and your thoughts about where America needs to go, and how we get there in one piece.
