WESTFIELD – A traffic advisory is being issued for Westfield beginning Friday morning August 24, 2018 lasting until early Sunday August 26th.
Due to the annual Westfield Rotary Club’s Food Fest, which takes pace on Elm Street, certain traffic detours will be in effect throughout the duration of the event.
Elm Street, from the intersection of School Street, north to the intersection of Franklin Street will be closed starting at 7am Friday the 24th and will remain closed until the early morning hours of Sunday August 26th after the conclusion and cleaning of the roadway.
Drivers are urged to seek alternate ways to avoid expected congestion.
Motorists traveling north can utilize Mechanic Street while those heading south can use Washington Street. Both detour routes return travelers to routes 10 & 202.
