WESTFIELD – Valentin Pachot, 70, (1953-2024) passed away on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Julio and Elutaria (Santiago) Pachot.
He was employed as a machine operator for Mestek for over 25 years. Valentin loved playing softball and played in leagues in Westfield and was an active communicant in St. Mary’s Church in Westfield.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 32 years, Patricia A. (Liberty) Pachot in 2011 and is survived by his children, Daniel Pacheco, of Palmer, Anthony Pacheco of Palmer and Rebecca Ann Pachot of Westfield, his loving grandchildren, Colin James Pacheco, Carlos Manuel Vergara, Jr., Raymond Luis Vergara, Gabriela Ann Seda and Patricia Ann Seda.
His funeral will be held on Friday, January 19th, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. from the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 from 4-6 p.m. in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
