WESTFIELD/SOUTHWICK – State Sen. John C. Velis, D-Westfield, is seeking re-election to the 2nd Hampden and Hampshire seat he won in May. Challenging Velis is John Cain, R-Southwick, an engineer who owns an Agawam business.
The district includes Agawam, Chicopee, Easthampton, Granville, Holyoke, Montgomery, Russell, Tolland, Southampton, Southwick and Westfield.
