Victoria J. LaBrecque

WESTFIELD: Victoria Jacqueline (Caron) LaBrecque, known as Jackie, 84, passed away on December 3, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center with her loving family at her side. She grew up in Huntington, lived in Woronoco for the first 10 years of her marriage with her husband of 61 years, Raymond E. LaBrecque, Sr. who died in 2011. They moved to Huntington, lived there for 30 years then moved to Westfield. Jackie leaves 3 sisters, Helyn Dupelle of Feeding Hills, Ursula Tuohey and husband John of Westfield, Sally Noel and Richard of Sebring, FL. She leaves her 7 children, Helynmarie Myrick of Worthington, Sharon Reid and husband Dan of Livingston, TX, Diane Wright of Chester, Raymond LaBrecque, Jr and wife Gail of Chester, Deborah Urzedowski of Greenfield, Caron LaBrecque of Huntington and Timothy LeBrecque who lived with her in Westfield, and his girlfriend Donna Luciani, 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She also leaves David LaBrecque, his wife Connie of Westfield, their two daughters, Jennifer and Lisa and their families. Besides her husband Ray and parents, Helyn and Edward Caron, she was predecease by her 3 brothers, Paul Caron of Sebring, FL, Philip Caron of West Springfield and Edward Caron (Ned) of North Windham, VT. Jackie was a homemaker, raising her large family with love and contentment. She was employed by the Murrayfield School Lunch Program and a member of the church choir and PTA in Huntington. She taught CCD classes, was a member of the Women’s Honor Guard and the Rosary Sodality for Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield in Westfield. She loved flowers, gardening and crocheted numerous items including afghans for the veterans, Westfield Senior Center, nursing homes, several local food banks and for family members for births, graduations and weddings while she hummed along to her beloved instrumental music. She also sponsored a young lady, Fidelis, from Kenya, through her church, which meant a lot to her. Calling hours will be held at Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield on December 11, from 6-8 PM. Funeral services on Saturday, December 12, will be at Firtion Adams at 9AM and at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Holyoke Rd. Westfield at 10 AM with reception to follow.
