WESTFIELD – Wendy B. (Moore) Lemanski, 57, of Westfield died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at home after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Pittsfield on January, 29, 1955 to John E. and Beulah R. (Farnham) Moore.
Wendy graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton. She was a waitress at the Foster House, Sheraton Inn and Bernie’s and was also a cafeteria worker for the Westfield Public Schools. Wendy enjoyed crafts, cake decorating, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of thirty-eight years, William J. Lemanski Jr.; two sons, William J. Lemanski III and his wife Amy, Matthew D. Lemanski and Heather A. Lemanski all of Westfield. Wendy also leaves her mother, Beulah ”Peg” Moore of Russell; three brothers, Thomas Moore and his wife Peggy of Chester, Gary and Michael Moore both of Russell; two sisters, Bonnie McKinney and her husband Wayne of Huntington and Laurie Waite and her husband Jeff of Becket; three grandchildren, Autumn, Angel-Lee and Treygan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, John E. Moore and her brother, John Moore.
The funeral for Wendy will be held on Sunday, October 28th at 5:00 p.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
