The grade 5-6 Westfield girls’ team had an amazing year representing the city, finishing the regular season with an 11-5 record. The nine local 5th and 6th graders came together this year for the first time after a two-year hiatus in this age division. Under the leadership of coaches Jeff Gelinas and Frank Crosby and assistants Frank Mochak and Jamil Hadla, the girls excelled during the season, making it to the league’s quarterfinals.
