Westfield State to host 3rd annual CURCA

by Taylor Choquette, intern, WSU ’18

WESTFIELD – On Friday May 4 Westfield State University will host their third annual Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA). CURCA is a celebration of the hard work and creativity from students at Westfield State.

Students from all majors will present their research and other types of creative works that they have been working on throughout the school year.

This is the second CURCA WSU has put on this school year. On Dec. 1, WSU hosted their first fall CURCA in the Nettie M. Stevens Science and Innovation Center.

Projects presented will range from books of poetry written by students to science research projects.

The upcoming May event, which will take place from 1-4 p.m. in Scanlon Banquet Hall, is open to the public.
