WSAA elects new Executive Board

WSAA Board 2018

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Spanish American Association (WSAA), celebrating their 23rd  year, has elected new board members. President: Josh Sotolongo; Vice President: Wil Rodriguez; Secretary: Carmen Marquez; Treasurer: Aidelisa Lopez-Carrasco and Sergeant of Arms: Maria Pantoja-Sotolongo.

Since 1995, WSAA has empowered the Latino community in the Greater Westfield Area to come together and create a visible presence in the local community. With this presence, the Westfield community has benefitted from the Latino culture, art, language, music, and history of a vastly diverse people. Our contribution to the growth and richness of our community stems from our hard work and family values.

We promote education and supporting scholarships through the Westfield Citizens’ Scholarship Fund. The WSAA Latino Fund has been set up with the Westfield Boys and Girls Club to assist Latino children particularly teens in accessing the services provided by the club. WSAA is looking to get more involved in the community and its events. If you have any upcoming events and would like us to assist in any matter, please feel free to contact Josh Sotolongo, [email protected].
