SPRINGFIELD – Ashley Lees tallied a first-half goal, and Katie Nesmelova scored a pair of goals in the second half to lead the Westfield Voc-Tech girls’ soccer team past host Putnam 3-0 Tuesday.
Lees scored off a pass from Marina Levkha. Megan Ilnicky and Steffany Costa set up Nesmelova’s goals.
Ilnicky also had four saves in net. Tigers’ Julia Levkha played well on defense, and Aedan Orr was solid in the midfield.
