1:11 a.m.: recreational vehicle complaint, Main Street, patrol officers report they tracked an ATV operating without lights or a registration plate which had forced vehicles to take evasive action and nearly struck one of the officers, the officers reports they followed the ATV tracks to Little River Road and thence to Pontoosic Street where contact was lost;
1:45 a.m.: officer wanted, Noble Hospital, Court Street, a caller from the emergency department reports a person who is not in need of medical attention is becoming problematic in the waiting room but says he doesn’t have a ride or anywhere to go, the responding officer reports the man was transported to the station to make arrangements for the night and was subsequently provided a courtesy transport to a Forest Avenue address;
2:10 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating in spite of the travel ban issued by the governor, the officer reports the motorist said that he was abroad to shop for food, a verbal warning was issued;
2:19 a.m.: parking violation, Congress Street, a patrol officer reports a citation was issued for a vehicle parked in violation of the snow emergency parking ban,
11:15 a.m.: parking violation, Grant Street, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle parked in violation of the snow emergency parking ban which is obstructing snow removal efforts, the DPW plow operator advised the officer that the same vehicle had interfered with plowing during the last snowstorm, a parking citation was issued and the van was towed to the police impound yard;
12:45 p.m.: breaking and entering, Fowler Avenue, a caller reports that vehicles were entered the night before, the responding officer reports that five unlocked vehicles were entered overnight and their contents were disturbed, nothing was reported to have been stolen and the caller said that a sixth parked vehicle which had been locked was not entered;
12:50 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Morris Street, a code enforcement officer reports a DPW supervisor complained that a Morris Street resident is blowing snow into the roadway, the officer reports that the landlord said that it was his first time dealing with snow at his property and was advised that he risks citations if he deposits snow in the roadway;
1:42 p.m.: officer wanted, Smith Avenue, a caller requests an officer for an altercation between sledders, the responding officer reports two group of recreators were using similar sleds and foul language was employed when confusion arose about whose sled was who’s, the officer reports that the two groups were sent to opposite ends of the sledding slope;
2:28 p.m.: breaking and entering, South Maple Street, a caller reports that vehicles were entered the night before, the responding officer reports the caller said that the family’s two vehicles were unlocked and parked when they were entered and the glove compartments were rifled, nothing of value was reported to have been stolen;
5:37 p.m.: parking complaint, Arnold Street, the city’s parking clerk requests an officer’s assistance notifying the owners of vehicles parked in the municipal parking lot in violation of the snow emergency parking ban that they must move their vehicles, the responding officer reports that six vehicles were issued parking citations and towed to the police impound yard and eight vehicles were issued parking citations;
7:40 p.m.: parking complaint, Franklin Street, an officer reports he assisted the city’s parking clerk with vehicles parked in the municipal parking lot in violation of the snow emergency parking, the officer reports that two vehicles were issued parking citations and towed to the police impound yard.
