1:26 a.m.: larceny, South Maple Street, a caller from a gas station and convenience store reports a woman stole lottery tickets, the responding officer reports the caller said that three people entered the store and one distracted the clerk while another went behind the counter and stole lottery tickets, the officer reports two people seen walking in the area were interviewed and a suspect was identified, during the investigation officers spoke with three people who were found to be the subjects of outstanding warrants, Crystal Marie Clark, 25, of no fixed address was arrested on three warrants issued in 2013 and 2014 by the Holyoke, Chicopee and Palmer district courts, Ashley M. Fournier, 23, of 531 East St., Easthampton, was arrested on a warrant issued in 2013 by the Springfield District Court and Blake E. Summerlin, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested on a warrant issued in 2014 by the Holyoke District Court
8:53 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Meadow Street, a caller reports that a sidewalk at a school bus stop has not been cleared and children are walking into the roadway, the responding officer reports the adjacent business was not open and a warning was left in the mailbox, the officer reports he will return later to speak with the business owner;
10:50 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Elm Street, an officer reports that the city parking clerk requests assistance speaking with staff at an Elm Street store where snow is pushed on to city property and negates city efforts to clear the snow, the officer reports that the owner of the European grocery always claims to not understand English when he speaks with him, a civilian police employee assisted the officer in explaining the relevant city ordinance in the native language of the staff;
12:51 p.m.: larceny, Shepard Street, a resident came to the station to complain that his apartment was entered on Saturday and his computer was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he last saw his laptop computer in his apartment Saturday evening and at first thought he had misplaced it when he could not immediately find it upon his return Sunday, the man said he believes the door was unlocked when he left his apartment;
3:04 p.m.: assist other agency, Noble Hospital, Court Street, a caller from the hospital requests an officer to take custody of contraband found in a patient’s property, the responding officer reports a hospital security employee found a marijuana pipe in the pockets of a patient admitted involuntarily, the officer reports he disposed of the pipe;
5:15 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Scenic Road, a caller reports an unshoveled sidewalk, the responding officer reports he spoke with a responsible resident who said that she will take care of the issue once her children return from school;
6:52 p.m.: vandalism, Little River Road, a resident reports via the online reporting option that a pile of snow 5-6 feet high was dumped on her sidewalk;
8:40 p.m.: arrest, Powder Mill Village, 126 Union St., a detective reports that a suspect in a Saturday morning barroom assault was identified and sought at his home, Alex Nunez, 31, of 126 Union St., was arrested without incident on two charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
