5:14 a.m.: fire, Wilson Avenue at Mill Street, a caller reports a car in a driveway is burning, the responding firefighters report the vehicle was fully involved before the fire was extinguished, the firefighters report the owner said that the vehicle had been leaking fluids and she pulled over when she saw smoke coming from the engine compartment, the woman said that she then saw flames behind the grill;
12:26 p.m.: assist other agency, Mechanic Street, a deputy fire chief requests an officer to address a safety concern, the responding officer reports the residents had attempted to dispose of a couch by placing it on the treebelt, the officer reports he advised the residents that if the tree is not salvaged by the end of the day it must be removed from the treebelt;
6:40 p.m.: incapacitated person, Orange Street, a caller reports he assisted a man seen stumbling on Orange Street but the man fell and lacerated his head, the responding officer reports that the man had injuries to his face, head, hands and knees and was transported to Noble Hospital despite his objections, the man was able to contact a sober friend to take him home after he was treated for his injuries;
8:33 p.m.: Oakwood Terrace Apartments, 200 Southwick Road, a landlord reports that one of his tenants who is the subject of eviction proceedings has been trying to buy drugs from a homeowner nearby and requests that an officer make his presence known in the area, the responding officer reports he drove around in the building’s parking lot.
