WESTFIELD – Westfield pitcher Hayley Moniz (4 Ks) scattered five hits, and the Bombers’ softball team launched its biggest offensive attack of the season, pounding Holyoke 10-1 Tuesday.
Moniz helped herself at the plate, going 2-for-4 and knocking in two runs. She also scored twice as well.
Karly Mastello (2-for-3, walk, 2 runs, RBI), Madison Brockney (hit, 2 RBIs), Hannah Giffune (2-for-4, double, run scored), Jill McCormick (double), Rachel Swords (2 walks, 2 runs, RBI), Grace Templeton (hit, run scored), Samantha Schieppe (hit, RBI), Nicole Clemente (hit, RBI) also provided offense for Westfield (1-2).

Leadoff hitter F. Adam went 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored, and D. Metivier (8 Ks) pitched a one-hitter to hand Westfield its second loss in two days.
Madison Brockney had the lone hit for Westfield.
