1:46 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, St. Paul Street. Police received a report of two men possibly breaking into vehicles on St. Paul Street. Police arrived and found the two suspects thanks to descriptions of the caller. Police arrested Andrew R. McGuire, 20, of Greenfield, and Christopher McCracken, 21, of Westfield, and charged each with taking and carrying away a registration plate, two counts of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and two counts of larceny under $250. 8:39 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party saying that two vehicles were broken into. It was not known how the vehicles were broken into and police did not specify if this was related to the prior break-in earlier.
8:43 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, walk-in. Police received another report about a vehicle being broken into. This vehicle was reportedly left unlocked. Police did not specify if it was related to the other two incidents.
10:22 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, walk-in. Police received another break-in report, this time with a party reporting six quarters that were missing from their vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked. Police said that this was probably not related to the previous break-ins.
1:13 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, East Main Street. Police received a report of a rear-end accident involving a 2005 Toyota Avalon and a 2016 Ford F150 on East Main Street. No airbags were deployed and no injuries were noted.
