SOUTHWICK – Zach Gorham and Noah Bleakley finished with 19 and 16 points, respectively, to lead visiting Granby past Southwick in a boys’ high school basketball game, 50-48.
Southwick’s Nick Hough collected a team high 18, and Hunter Iglesias and Ryan LeClair each had 13.
Southwick will try to rebound when it returns to action Tuesday at home against Hampshire. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
Spartans surge past Bombers
East Longmeadow 55, Westfield 54
East Longmeadow rallied with a 19-9, fourth quarter to surge past Westfield at home. Jeric Cichon (15 points), Jordan Wiggins (14), and Colin Lindsay led the Spartans.
Aidan Dunn and Kamron Wells scored 12 apiece for Westfield, and Rodney Bernard had 10.
Ocasio, HCSS soar
Hampden Charter School of Science 72, St. Mary 55
Hampden Charter raced out to a 25-5 lead, and Damian Ocasio went on to score a game-high 34 points at Dunbar Community Center.
Jake Butler and Drew Collins each finished with 14 points to lead St. Mary.

Franklin Tech 75, Westfield Tech 51
Colin Gould (27 points), Joel Farrick (20), and Corey Johnson (19) fueled Franklin Tech’s victory at home.

Jessica Crosby exploded for 11 points, and Casey Ruthledge had seven as St. Mary posted a victory on the road.

Commerce 55, Westfield Technical Academy 11
Breanna Marchena (20 points) and Gerliz Hernandez (15) combined for 35 of Commerce’s 55 points en route to a convincing win at Westfield Tech. Tigers’ Jeika Ross scored six, and Jaymee Hall had five.

SKI RESULTS
St. Mary put four skiers in the top 20 overall with another strong Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference race Thursday night at Berkshire East. The Saints finished second in the South Division.
Matt Masciadrelli led St. Mary with a fourth place overall finish (3rd South) in 33.02, followed by teammates Nate Bonini (9th overall), Jack Masciadrelli (11th), and Hayden Lussier (17th).
East Longmeadow finished first in the division with three skiers placing in the top 10, extending their lead in the standings to two points.
“All our boys again skied great,” St. Mary ski coach Andy Lussier said. “While a broken gate impaired Matt’s run a bit, he held on for a top five finish. These things happen in slalom. It is a ‘full contact sport.’”
Nate Bonini extended his run of consistency with top 15 finishes.
“He is making some big strides in his skiing and it is showing in his results,” coach Lussier said of his Saint.
St. Mary girls’ skier Chloe Lussier had another good night on the Giant Slalom course, finishing 11th overall (6th division).
Minnechaug’s Grace Crochiere nudged Westfield out of the top spot for the first time this season in the girls’ race in 25.7. Grace O’Connor finished runner-up with a time of 25.77.
