LONGMEADOW – Allison Teatrault scored a game-leading six goals, three Longmeadow players each scored three, and two others delivered three points apiece as the Longmeadow High School girls’ lacrosse team held serve at home, handily defeating Westfield 20-2 in a season opener Monday.
Courtney Barrett, Henna Brennan, and Taylor Low each netted three goals for Longmeadow. Lancers’ Claire Fitzpatrick (2 goals, 1 assist) and Anna Maurer (1 goal, 2 assists) recorded three points apiece.
Hannah Jarvis notched both goals for Westfield (0-1). Bombers’ Kiele Bryant landed one assist.
Westfield goalies Ivan Headly and Liz Clark combined for eight saves. Westfield keeper Hannah Valencia had two.
