12:37 a.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Springfield Road. According to police, a vehicle was stopped initially for speeding. Police reported that the operator, Dean Zebian, 18, of Westfield, also reportedly had a revoked drivers license. Police arrested Zebian and charged him with operating motor vehicle with license revoked and speeding in violation of special regulation.
8:24 a.m.: Breaking and entering, Mill Street. Police received a report of a building that allegedly had a previous breaking and entering occur. There was a report of a damaged screen. However, police did not report any items missing.
9:23 a.m.: Larceny, Governor’s Center, Broad Street. Police received a report of pills allegedly missing during a medication count.
1:50 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Union Street. Police reported that they witnessed a male subject running from a store to a vehicle. Police reported following the vehicle and that the plate on the front of the vehicle came “back as a stolen plate,” though the plate on the back of the vehicle was reported correct. According to the police log, there was also a witness report of someone allegedly taking items from the store and leaving.
Police reported that the vehicle let a female party out of their vehicle eventually, and that person, Kathleen Talbot, 36, of Springfield, reportedly had a warrant out for their arrest. Police arrested Talbot on that warrant, but no other arrests were reported from police.
6:47 p.m.: Accident, Springdale Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that had reportedly spun out of control and off the roadway. No injuries reported but a tow truck was requested.
8:07 p.m.: Warrant service and arrest, King Street. Police reported that detectives arrested Kirt M. Brooks, 46, of Westfield, on an outstanding federal warrant. Police also reported that they had allegedly found Brooks with drugs in his possession. Police arrested Brooks on the warrant, as well as for possession of class A drug and possession of class B drug.
