8:40 a.m.: identity fraud, a resident came to the station to complain that her social media account has been hacked and she is being harassed by a former boyfriend, the responding officer reports that the woman was very loud and created a disturbance when she came to the station with her daughter and continued to be confrontational and uncooperative with the officers despite repeated suggestions to calm down, the officer reports that the woman’s disruptive behavior was witnessed by her daughter, a report was filed with the Department of Children and Families;
10:43 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Howard Street, an officer detailed to follow up on unpaid city ordinance violation citations reports an offender who has not paid fines for two city ordinance violation citations has not responded to a letter advising that a criminal complaint would result, a criminal complaint will be filed;
2:49 p.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, a resident came to the shelter to surrender a nine-month-old white male poodle she can no longer keep;
7:13 p.m.: found property, Kennedy Apartments, 6 Kasper Drive, a caller reports he has a found box of needles, the responding officer report the owner of the insulin needle caps could not be located and the property was transported to the station for safe keeping.
