To the Editor,
I want to thank the Westfield DPW crews for their quick response, hard work and for doing a great job responding to the blocked sewer line on Union Street that was affecting the Marine League Building on North Elm Street, and the surrounding area. The crews were out on Saturday and again on Monday. The weather was a little nicer on Saturday, but had dropped 30 degrees by Monday.
I want to thank the Westfield G&E for coming out on Monday to get the heat and hot water up and running in time for them to hold their Monthly meeting Monday night.
I was there both days, and I will tell you, the veterans were extremely grateful.
