FLORIDA: Alfred M. Strolis, Jr., 78, (1942 – 2021) of Zephyrhills, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on March 12, 2021. He was born in Derby, CT to the late Alfred M. Strolis, Sr. and Josephine (Fritz) Strolis.
Alfred was raised in Southwick, MA and was a graduate of Southwick High School. After graduating, Alfred enlisted in the United States Navy Seabees. Later in his career, Alfred became a master craftsmen, architect, and business owner. A Zephyrhills resident of 31 years, he loved to golf and travel.
Along with his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Strolis; and brother, Ronald Strolis.
Survivors include four daughters: Christine Tyler (Jon) of Westfield, MA, Jackie Fischer (Bruce) of Pennsdale, PA, Lisa Danek (Bill) of Northampton, MA, and Linda Bonney of Westfield, MA; 13 grandchildren: Sharon Pender (Travis), Kevin Pelletier (Amanda), Justin Pelletier, Jessica Fischer, Leanne Fischer, Cody Fischer, Chelsea Fischer, Steven Danek (Virginia), Jacob Danek (Corrine), Stephanie Danek (John), Samantha McGuire (Matt), Kenny Bonney, and Megan Bonney; 5 cherished great-grandchildren, Emerson, Ethan, Easton, Jackson, and Kannon; three brothers: Edward Strolis, Richard Strolis (Dale), and Ralph Strolis; one sister, Georgia Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
