WESTFIELD – Kimberlee J. Hosmer, 58, of Westfield passed away on April 9, 2023 after battling health issues. She was born the daughter of the late Victor M. O’Connor. She was the daughter of Stanley J. Wantuch and Sandra L. Wantuch (Fox) of Westfield. Kim worked as branch manager for Woronoco Savings Bank, Collier Fence, and lastly Westfield State University where she loved being a mom to all the students. She achieved a Certificate from American Banking Association and a degree from Babson College for financial studies, but her greatest achievement was being a mom to her four children and grandparent to her grandson. She enjoyed going to the beach, going to Cape Cod (especially with the group for the St. Patrick’s Day parade) and hosting and planning parties for every holiday and occasion. No matter what time of year, if Kim planned the party, it was sure so be a sunny beautiful day. She mostly enjoyed spending time with family and attending all her children’s sporting events.
She leaves behind her loving husband Timothy J. Hosmer, daughter Stephanie Hosmer, son Adam Hosmer, his girlfriend Linda Veliz; their son and beloved grandson Leeroy, son Erik Hosmer, daughter Victoria Hosmer; her boyfriend Joe Raco and her loving fur babies Duke, Diamond and the late Sabrina. In addition, she leaves behind her father/mother-in-law John and his wife Mary Hosmer. Sisters Kelly (O’Connor) Bebber and her husband Andrew, Kristie (Wantuch) Healey and her fiancé Marc Franceschet, Kerrie (Wantuch) Marcoulier, brother-in-law Brian Hosmer; his wife Louisa, brother-in-law Jamie Hosmer; his wife Maria, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Wood, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who hold a special place in her heart. Along with her treasured friend Sue Gallo, Kim also holds all her children’s friends as part of her family. Everyone knew if you brought anyone over to the Hosmer’s, Kim took them in as her own.
Kim was predeceased by her sister Katherine (Trin) Wantuch and her parents.
The funeral for Kim will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at 9 am at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, followed by a Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 18th at the funeral home from 4- 7 pm.
