1:11 a.m.; motor vehicle violation, a traffic bureau officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to have been revoked for lack of insurance, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:21 a.m.; identity fraud, Crescent Circle, a resident came to the station to report that her signature was used fraudulently for a loan, the responding officer reports the complaint said that she was contacted in October in reference to a student loan which was made in 2000 to a person with a name similar to her brother’s, the woman said that she believes that her brother, who she did not speak with for years prior to his death, used her information to secure a student loan which has an outstanding balance, the officer reports the signature of the loan application bears no resemblance to her signature on motor vehicle documents;
9:44 a.m.: city ordinance violation, an officer reports follow up checks on sidewalks which had not been cleared of ice and snow showed that sidewalks on Elm Street, Sherman Street and White Street still need attention;
11:16 p.m.: breaking and entering, Northwest Road, a caller reports he has discovered a past break-in, the responding officer reports a woman said that she had occasion to go into the cellar while visiting her mother and found that a basement window had been removed, the officer reports the resident said that she had been taking a bath when the doorbell rang and, by the time she got to the door, she found nobody there, t he woman said that she then heard what sounded like something being ripped from the side of her house, the woman said that she called out but got no response so she went to bed;
12:51 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a traffic bureau officer reports a traffic stop, the office reports the operator’s license was found to be suspended and a criminal complaint was filed, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
2:05 p.m.: violation of a protective order, East Mountain Road, a resident came to the station to report a possible violation of a protective order, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she walked her daughter to the end of her driveway so the girl’s father could take her to school and the man became upset that she was late and began to verbally abuse her, the woman said that the man brushed against her and she became concerned because she has known him to become unruly when he gets upset, a criminal complaint was filed;
2:37 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Coleman Avenue, a patrol office reports he checked a sidewalk in response to a complaint and found that the sidewalk adjacent to two lots owned by a nearby business had not been cleared, the officer reports the manager of the business took immediate steps to clear the sidewalks;
3:59 p.m.: found property, East Main Street, a resident came to the station surrender an envelope found in an East Main Street parking lot which contained several hundred dollars in cash, the envelope was held for safe keeping;
6:34 p.m.: incapacitated person, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a person behind an East Main Street store, the man was deemed to be unable to care for himself and was placed in protective custody;
7:11 p.m.: traffic complaint, West School Street at Malone Avenue, a caller reports a parked vehicle is blocking traffic, the responding officer reports that three vehicles were parked so as to obstruct traffic, the officer made an announcement at a nearby basketball game and the vehicles were moved;
8:35 p.m.: arrest, Union Street, officer detailed to attempted to serve a resident with outstanding warrants reports the suspect was found at her registered address, Jacqueline Cordes, 40, of 30 Union St., was arrested on two outstanding warrants;
8:56 p.m.: city ordinance violation, William Street, a community policing officer reports he found a section of sidewalk on William Street which had not been cleared and said that he would address the issue with owner of the adjacent property;

9:08 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Main Street, a patrol officer reports he was advised that the sidewalk adjacent to a Main Street business had not been properly treated, the officer reports the manager of the business said that the sidewalks would be treated promptly;
10:03 a.m.: larceny, Westfield Vocational Technical High School, 33 Smith Ave., a school resource officer reports a pupil said that an iPod had been inadvertently left in a classroom and was found to be missing when the owner returned in search of it;
12:48 p.m.: larceny, Summer Street, a caller reports his bicycle may have been stolen, the responding office reports the complainant said that he left his bicycle outside while visiting a friend and found it gone when he returned for it;
1:46 p.m.: disturbance, Summer Street, a caller reports her friend was assaulted by a known party, the responding officer reports the victim said that an argument developed with her former boyfriend who punched her, the officer noted a sign of a minor injury to the woman’s head, the caller said that the man had pushed her when she tried to protect her friend, Robert M. Maynard, 31, of 104 Rogers Ave., was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship and for assault and battery;
3:00 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Columbia Street, a caller reports a section of sidewalk on Columbia Street had not been cleared, the responding officer reports he found the house is vacant and owned by a bank without a local office;
6:02 p.m.: incapacitated person, Columbus Apartments, 97 Elm Street, a caller requests a well being check on a relative who may be intoxicated, the responding officer reports the woman was deemed to be unable to care for herself and was placed in protective custody;
4:33 p.m.:officer wanted, School Street, a caller reports a male party touched her inappropriately, the responding officer reports the woman said that an unknown man engaged her in conversation and complimented her before touching her body, the officer reports the man had left the area, a survey of the area did not yield any suspects;
7:51 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Otis, St. Paul Street and Frederick streets, a community policing officer reports he found a section of sidewalk which had not been cleared and said that he would address the issue with owners of the adjacent properties;
8:56 p.m.: arrest, North Elm Street, a patrol supervisor reports he encountered a known party and a routine check revealed him to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, Tito Anthony Pacheco, 31, of 14 Pinewood Lane, was arrested on the warrant;
11:34 p.m.: assault, Southwick Road, a caller reports her boyfriend was assaulted, the responding officer reports the man said that he was walking home from a liquor store when he was assailed by two male parties who knocked him down and stole his 12 pack of beer.
