12:02 a.m.: assist other agency, North Cherry Street, a representative of the Department of Children and Families requests that city officer attempt to execute an arrest warrant for a juvenile boy, the responding officers report the boy was found at his last known address and was arrested on the warrant;
7:15 a.m.: fire, St. Paul Street, a caller reports the neighbors have a fire in their stove which the caller’s son was able to put out, the responding firefighters confirmed that the fire was extinguished;
7:56 a.m. found property, Kelly Drive, a caller reports he wants to surrender abut a dozen live firecrackers he found on his daily walk, the items were brought to the station for proper disposal;
10:41 a.m.: school investigation, Westfield Middle School South, a school resource officer reports that an eighth grade boy reports that while at a urinal in a boy’s lavatory another eighth grade boys kicked his back forcing him to slam his hands against to wall to avoid striking it which resulted in pain to his hand, the SRO reports he spoke with the victim’s parents who said that their son has previously had issues with the suspect and that they wish to pursue criminal charges, a criminal complaint was filed;
12:05 p.m.: threat to commit a crime, a resident came to the station with her son to report that her son has received threatening text messages from her daughter’s boyfriend, the responding officer report the woman said that the suspect and her daughter are the defendants of a protective order she was granted on behalf of her granddaughter who is in her custody, the officer reports he was not immediately able to speak with suspect;
12:42 p.m.: vandalism, East Mountain Road, a caller reports that her windows were vandalized, the responding officer reports the caller said that she recently discovered that four of the storm windows of her residence have been holed and cracked by apparent BB or pellet impacts, the woman said that she discovered the damage because of the recent warm weather and does not know when it occurred;
12:59 p.m.: vandalism, Cedar Lane, a caller reports tires on his vehicle were slashed, the responding officer reports the caller said that he had a slow leak in a tire and did not initially concern himself when he saw a tire on his minivan was flat but when he discovered three tires were flat he examined them more carefully and found the sidewalls had been punctured;
1:00 p.m.: annoying phone calls, Frederick Street, a caller reports receiving three text messages in rapid succession which appear to reference criminal activity, the responding officer reports the caller said that she did not recognize the number the text messages were sent from, the case was referred to the Detective Bureau.
