Raul Zavala, 28, of 25 Piedmont St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. He was also assessed $340. In addition, Zavala submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of failure to stop for police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations and charges of resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs were not prosecuted.
Conor M. Andry, 20, of 325 Grove St., Melrose, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Brad Emmonds, 33, of 76 Patriots Way, Russell, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $567.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days.
Gregory Bonneau, 18, of 100 Rachael Terrace, was placed on pretrial probation for six months after he was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and vandalizing property brought by Westfield police. Additional charges of disorderly conduct and vandalizing property were not prosecuted.
Chelsea Bargalla, 18, of 130 Sackett Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of receiving stolen property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $90.

Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013
Steven D. Conrad, 44, of 8 Highland Ave., South Hadley, was released on his personal recognizance pending a March 12 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of liquor (a subsequent offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and a marked lanes violation brought by Westfield police.
