SOUTHWICK – Although the Third Annual Southwick Home and Business Show is not until April 6, organizers are accepting vendor applications now.
Hosted by the Southwick Economic Development Commission (EDC), the annual event takes place at Town Hall and is a showcase for Southwick businesses.
At this time the EDC is soliciting Southwick businesses that wish to exhibit during the event. EDC Chairman Michael McMahon said this is a great opportunity for local businesses to share information with area residents in an informal, no pressure setting.
“The last two years we have had everything from beauty salons and banks to massage therapy and chiropractors,” McMahon said.
The EDC welcomes all Southwick businesses at the show.
“Last year we had a manufacturing business come to let high school students and their parents know that there are well-paid, local manufacturing jobs in the area and there is training available,” McMahon said.
The show is limited to 35 vendors because of the size of the space.
The Show is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Preregistration for exhibitors is required and a $20 registration fee is payable with a deadline of March 1, 2013.
